    The chirping is so odd. I can’t tell if it’s a complaint about not being able to take action or just excitement at seeing a target. I think it’s the former. If the window wasn’t there, there’d be a silent strike.

    OMG our ghost tabby (Fluffy Butt of the North, First of Her Name) chirps when woodpeckers come to the feeders outside the window. She’ll have entire conversations with the local woodpeckers, both of em chirping in turn.

    Seems to be anything that size or bigger (like a Blue Jay or Cardinal) isn’t prey, but she’ll stalk a dove or a finch.
