They do but they don’t do anything? Like they care a lot just not doing anything about?
They shot that armed drone because it came near their base, not because they care who else it was going to shoot at.

That’s the official story they tell so Turkey can save face, yes.

IOW US is protecting Kurds by shooting down a single Turkish drone?
Kurds, which are often abandoned by US (Iraq, Syria at least, in later case giving free hands to … Turkey)?
I really don’t think there is a positive internet towards Kurds there.

As I said, they’re not doing much. But it’s fairly clear that the US would rather have Turkey leave the Kurds alone. It’s just not ready to take more than symbolic measures.

Is that “rest of the world” hailing Hamas as brave freedom fighters like Erdogan does in the room with you right now?

Saying “we dont like and need Turkey so fuck them, because they are not on our side.” is also telling the test of the world that we will fuck them if they arent on our side for a specific issue. This is not relevant to the current issue.

And Erdogan has a point that the EUs divided and often ignorant towards Israels war crimes stance, is undermining the trust of the world into Europe. Someone who applies standards only selectively has no standards. And if the seperation line tends to revolve around how 'western" the actors are, it does not fare well with countries whose history with Europe is already defined by brutal European colonialism, so pretty much all of South and Central America, Africa, South Asia and Oceania.

Erdogans praise for Hamas is despicable, but unfortunately he manages to put a finger in a wound here we inflicted on ourselves.

    Fuck him.

He’s one of the most corrupt dictators on the planet. He’s rigged elections, tortured citizens, and imprisoned more journalists than any other country.

    Fuck him with a cactus.

When all these autocrats have a point while leaders of main western democracies “stand in solidarity” with Bibi the genocider. And this is just a fact, no propaganda, smh…
