The queens were tasked with writing and performing their own verses for RuPaul songs from his new album Black Butta. Swedish synth-pop duo Icona Pop guest judge.

    Writing this before hearing the judges’ critiques:
    I think all the queens turned it out this episode. All performances were great and no one flopped in runway, in my opinion. I was so much hoping that Amanda would get a win this episode, but I know before hearing the judges she won’t. I wanted that group to be the best because it has my favorite queens in it, but unfortunately Amanda’s hair hot in her way :(
    I also have a feeling Q is going to be in the bottom, or safe if her runway saves her. Her vocals were amazing though. Safira was a-fucking-mazing, both in her verse and her choreo. And Nymphia also ate in the challenge and runway specially.
    After the judges critiques, before the lipsync:
    Wow, I think Geneva’s group did great but I wasn’t expecting them to win. Mhi’ya fucking killed it though, so it’s well deserved. And fuck my life… I love Amanda and there’s no way they’re sending Q home =…(
    After the lipsync: Well fuck… she was my absolute favorite, and I’m sure she would have killed the snatch game :(

      I’m hoping Amanda is able to capitalize on her likeability and position herself as well as other early out queens. She has the IT thing.

      We screamed when Thick and Stick came on. They were clearly the best and the other girls knew it. It also helped that they got the best Ru song on the Black Butter album though

    Thick & Stick really did THAT. I’ve replayed their performance at least 20 times already… The whispers! The dance! Even their colors are cohesive! Shout out to Nymphia for making the team wear banana colors LOL (I assume it was her haha). Also, as a quiet introvert, this ep kinda made me feel vindicated lmao

    I am rooting for Plasma, she’s clearly got the talent, but that moment at judging when she broke into Barbra and Ru’s face went from 😄 to 😐 in one second… Damn.

    Really sad to see the elimination… She’s got the CUNT, I hope she’ll get more polished and return for Amanda Tori All-Stars season in a few years!!

      The whispers really set them appart. I would have liked to see the recording session. It almost send as if production made their song just better.

      I didn’t notice the color cohesion! But then again, I’m color blind 🤷‍♂️

      I loved it so much when Plasma broke into Barbara that I didn’t notice Ru’s face change. Gonna have to watch that again.

      She’s got the CUNT, I hope she’ll get more polished and return for Amanda Tori All-Stars season in a few years!!

      I’m panini presseeeeed. What on earth? Amanda in the bottom when she did great on the challenge? Amanda not winning that lipsync when it was clear she did? I am not a fan of this level of bad choices.

      I also did rewatch the groups, no group was horrible but Thick & Stick just was better… I think it was also the song. The other songs, Mama Ru, were not giving.

      Nymphia is def my favorite. I did exclaim ‘oh biiiiiiiitch’ when she revelaed the red wig. Her aesthetic choices make my brain happy. She is my winner, so far. Saphira needs more tv time, too.

      I agrew with the Plasma thing. Super talented queen but when queens are so hyper or fixated in the theater, they get the Max edit as well, so I fear for her.

        She got Jasmined and Jaxed, poor thing. I do have to admit that I’d rather see more of Q’s runways so I’m happy she’s still in the race

        She (Amanda) undoubtedly won that lipsync but that choice was purely based on track record. Q can deliver in runways and humor so I understand the choice. Still upset about it though 😢

    I liked the runway this week, special shout out to Xunami for looking extra great! My fave part of this episode was Nymphia going “What sound does a yak make?” and making yak noises.
