I recently did my yearly service of filling the tires, I’ve literally never opened up the wheel hub of a bicycle in my entire life

I restored a bike that I found at the bottom of a hill under an overpass (it was a 1970’s Schwinn and I just couldn’t let it die there!)

it was a mess but even that bike had a cleaner hub that yours!

Why did you have to look? Now the magic that keeps it all together has been dispelled. :(
