The student newspaper, The Daily Mississippian, reported about 30 protesters on the Oxford campus billed themselves as UMiss for Palestine. Videos and photos from the event showed the protesters were in a grassy area near the main library, blocked off by barriers erected by campus security.

They chanted “Free, free Palestine,” and carried Palestinian flags and signs with slogans including, “Stop the Genocide” and “U.S. bombs take Palestine lives.”

At this point if you don’t think what’s happening in Gaza is a genocide you’re an idiot. These people should never be elected or hold any position of power ever. They’ve failed both the morality and intelligence tests in one simple issue.

As someone who’s lived in the southeastern US nearly all of my five decades on this earth (tho I admit… only a couple years in Mississippi, back in the eighties), I’m not sure they don’t think what’s happening in Gaza is a genocide. The counterprotests are less because they care about “antisemitism” and more they think peaceniks should shut up already, especially about dead Muslims. Like, this ain’t pro-Israel, it’s pro-genocide.

But yeah, they’ve failed a lot of tests.
