Final score: 88-85

SGA (30/4/7), Dillon Brooks (22/5/2), and RJ Barrett (16/5/1) carried Canada in this one. The game could have easily gone the other way or into OT. Spain led for 70% of the time and did everything right in the last 30 seconds. There was a bit of Raptors reunion with Nate Bjorkgren, Sergio Scariolo, and Juancho Hernangómez all on or around the court

Yeah and great Q4 overall - I think they went 27-12! Canada’s floor has been a little low though. They got into a lot of foul trouble in this game (although I don’t think it was the best officiated game) and they don’t typically start games strong. I just want them to strengthen their weaknesses because this tourney’s not going to get any easier :P

Dillon Brooks kept Canada in the game when things looked bleak. Dwight Powell played much bigger than himself today. Absolute beast. SGA was ICE in close-out time. He made like 6 consecutive free throws in the last 30 seconds to keep Canada ahead of Spain.

Agreed!! Brooks has the 3 to tie it up iirc. Right before that, Shai laid it up with 2 or 3 white shirts in the pain and got the and 1. I really felt that basket kept Canada in the game
