An Air Force T-6 Texan II pilot died May 14 after the training plane's ejection seat fired during ground operations.

    It sounds like it was triggered by a faulty charge in the ejection seat itself, so it wouldn’t have triggered the canopy to eject with it.
    It’s a horrible way to go but it was fucking quick though.
