Yeah this game was… interesting enough. I can’t say it was really worth the time to figure out though. I really like RPGs, open world/ multi-path games. But this one just didn’t “hook” me.
The problem with it for me was that it has all these branching stories, but no cohesive overarching story. It was more like 8 separate stories than 8 chapters of the same story.
I’ll admit I didn’t finish it, maybe it comes together at the end, but I was bored of it and not having fun anymore.
Same, I played around 20 hours and dropped it: the gameplay was fun enough but the lack of interaction between the characters was really disappointing and the stories weren’t really interesting to me to keep playing.
Octopath Traveller is a game I should have theoretically liked because I have so much nostalgia for SNES RPGs. Unfortunately, it felt more like a proof-of-concept demo stretched to a full-length game than a complete experience in its own right.
I’ve heard that the sequel is better, but I haven’t tried it.
Wtf is this title. “Octopath Traveler now available on Xbox and PlayStation” is normal. This is SEO to its illogical extreme.
Who the hell puts a semicolon in their title?
Edit: I’m an idiot
OT 1 is available on PS. OT 2 is available on Xbox.
…I swear I can read lmao
God I’m an idiot
God I’m an idiot
Disagree but I’m way too tapped to get into that argument lol. Ya goofed, the end. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Happens lol
