Does anyone have any advice for finding irl covid conscious communities and people? I’ve been feeling very isolated lately, and it would be nice to meet people who feel like I do about things.
You could probably see if there are any disability- related support groups in your area. People who are more aware that they could die if they get sick are more likely to be taking protective measures.
idk I’m not disabled myself so I’d feel a bit odd doing this. Unless it was some sort of advocacy group I guess, although I’m not really looking to get involved, just how to meet people.
Ohh gotcha. Sorry, I actually forgot that some people don’t have any disabilities. Almost everyone I know has something. Apart from that, I’m not sure… perhaps you could look for activities that are covid-safe by nature? Like a hiking group, where people could be socially distanced and outdoors, which would allow for a safer social activity. Perhaps you could find people who are safe about covid by doing activities that are safe from covid. [/gen]
