Many of the senator’s constituents hadn’t heard what he was doing in interviews with NBC News, even as his actions have gripped Washington.

But back home, the issue isn’t making the same sort of waves — although he is getting support from some conservative voices in the state. NBC News spoke to dozens of Tuberville’s constituents, and most said they hadn’t heard about his hold on military promotions or his comments about white nationalism.

Hadn’t heard or wouldn’t admit to supporting them?

I really wish they would follow up a response like that with something along the lines of “well now that you have heard what he is doing, what is your initial reaction to that?” And when they inevitably somehow defend the military promotions BS then ask them directly about the white nationalist comments.

These people deserve to feel uncomfortable supporting shitty politicians.

Sounds like we need a literal military blockade of Alabama until this weasel stops screwing the American public. No more patience for obstructionists, let him go back to coaching football and running ponzi schemes.
