Oh well that’s unfortunate, I didn’t know much about them but that logo is familiar
Such an iconic brand and it sounds like it’ll be lots of trouble for growers a long while after they shut down. Sad to see it go.
Absolutely.
Instead of a cooperative that operates in the farmers interest selling their product, now they’ll be dealing with selling to corporations whose interest is on maximizing corporate profits at the expense of both farmers and consumers.
