Man muss sich halt einfach mal fragen, warum das so ist. Und gegen die Ursachen was tun. Frauen wollen das nicht einfach intrinsisch motiviert so. Da macht man es sich ganz schön einfach wenn man sagt: selbst Schuld wenn sie sich schlecht bezahlten Jobs raussuchen. So lese ich es bei dir zumindest zwischen den Zeilen heraus. Und dann als Strohmann-Argument rauszuhauen “dann müsste man halt einen auf Planwirtschaft machen und das kann es ja schließlich auch nicht sein” ist halt Quatsch. Es gibt auch vernünftige Herangehensweisen, weil es für alles Erklärungen und Begründungen gibt. Beim gender pay gap geht’s halt unterm Strich um strukturelle Benachrichteiligung. Und da gegen kann man etwas tun. Gesellschaftlich wie politisch.

Nur um dem Pseudoargument vorwegzugreifen “Aber der bereinigte Gap ist der richtige Wert und der ist ja voll gering, das Problem ist ja gar nicht so schlimm”. Bereinigt heißt nur, dass man Faktoren herauszieht, die die Ungleichheit begründen. Wir haben noch keine Gleichberechtigung erreicht, wenn wir den bereinigten Wert auf 0 gebracht haben.

Und das wäre teilweise ja schon gegeben, wenn Fleischalternativen so gering besteuert werden würden wie Fleisch…

Well you shouldn’t say “These bad bad companies are solely responsible for the climate change, I don’t need to do anything because in relation it doesn’t matter anyway.” But that’s about it. Companies and rich/powerful people are the main reason for the climate change. Just take the “carbon footprint idea” created by oil companies in the 60s to shift their responsibility to others. Big companies know what they’re doing. Additionally, don’t underestimate marketing and advertising. They have the power to create more “needs”. You may be proud of your goals in restricting yourself and you should be! But the world can’t be saved when every consumer is doing their best while companies doing what they’re always doing. I don’t wanna say capitalism is completely bad, we just need an advanced long term focused version of it.
