Not to oversell the utility of arguing with libs, but usually it’s the bystanders who get something out of the conversation, not the lib you’re conversing with directly. There’s no point in conversing in old posts, and little point in continuing a conversation beyond the “X more replies →” fold, because there’s usually no audience.
Not to excuse us entirely—especially those working for the MIC—but it’s not really from us.
“Look at what your government prioritizes” is a great reframing.
This is easy agitprop, but it’s not really true. None of those things would get more funding if we cut back on military spending. At the most fundamental, our federal taxes pay for nothing, so I avoid these lines of agitation. I think Richard Wolff knows this, and it annoys me when he uses it anyway, because it perpetuates the “debt ceiling” / “how are you gonna pay for it” mythology that the capitalist class wants perpetuated.
liberals ignoring celebrity opinions challenge (impossible)
Hobbies are whatever you do because you wanna, not because you haveta. To think that hobbies need to somehow be “productive” I usually attribute to a capitalist/liberal/Protestant mindset. This reminds me of R. H. Tawney’s Religion And The Rise Of Capitalism, though I haven’t read it so I can’t say for sure that it’s relevant.
Doom spending. What insulting bullshit won’t business journalism hork up? Folks ain’t go no dough, and their credit cards are tapped out.
? Expertise in being extremely online? I’m not really sure what works especially well; they seem to shut up whatever my response 🤷
Arguing with libs online is praxis 😉 https://lemmygrad.ml/search?q=china&type=Comments&listingType=All&creatorId=873207
Why plagiarize from “gatekeeping LARPers”?
How is anyone taking these people seriously?
Patriotic Socialism, or PatSoc in short, is not a real thing, but libtards think it is for some reason.
The notion that Communists in America must be motivated by deep patriotic feeling, and a sense of belonging to their country and its people, has always been basic Marxist-Leninist orthodoxy. All of this changed when fat anti-social removed in universities declared that Marxism-Leninism (or “Stalinism”) itself is “fascist,” and decided that socialism was about scolding ordinary people for not being “enlightened” enough about transgenderism.
Merely having class consciousness would not change the fact that the capitalist class owns the means of production, and the working class needs wages to subsist.
Yellen says the economy is “deep into a recovery.” 😂 The abysmal depths of an upswing!
They’ve been projecting neocolonial debt trapping onto China, and corporate media of course repeats it. There’s plenty of evidence that it’s bullshit.
Good point.
A member of the materialist vanguard party should be a materialist, and shouldn’t tacitly promote idealism. I imagine weddings, funerals, etc., which are only incidentally religious might be exceptions. As for that revolutionary conjuncture, as is often the case with organized religion, the Russian Orthodox church had been against the communists.
I dunno, but https://www.usa.gov/write-in-candidates
Check with your state election office to find out the rules for your state. If you check using your state’s election website, enter “write-in candidates” in the search bar.
There isn’t even a DNS entry. The leftypol.org site is still up. It has a link to leftypedia.org, which also has no DNS entry.

The imperial core business press is forever printing wish fulfillment stories of China’s impending liberalization. They want to neocolonize it so bad.
