You mentioned the only two fruits I don’t like lol durian and coconut. I do really love grapefruits though and I’ve been taking them from a nearby tree lately now that they are in season. I don’t know what it is about coconut flavor I really don’t like maybe I should give it another shot.

I use it to re-tone and clarify corporate communications that I have to send out on a regular basis to my clients and internally. It has helped a lot with the amount of time I used to spend copy editing my own work. I have saved myself lots of hours doing something I don’t really like (copy-editing) and more time doing the stuff I do (engineering) because of it.

It can be any fruit uncommon to you! I also love mangos and have figured out where the pit will be with my intuition somehow. It is just starting to be mango season in Mexico so they should start coming around again in a month or so.

I love Pomelos! They are actually a true citrus, Oranges are actually a hybrid of Mandarins and Pomelos and Grapefruits are hybrids of Oranges and Pomelos. Check out this map I’ve had on my computer for a long time:

Where I live is a citrus region and the mandarins and oranges are coming ripe right now, the grape fruits and pomelos take a bit more time and get picked in February, I can’t wait!

I love the green walls! I just had my carpets removed and engineered wood installed but I had people do it because there is no way I would have been able to pull that off. I like the privacy screen on the window too, great job!

My favorite uncommon fruit are rambutans because I am eating some now. They are really good and funny looking.

“Lemmy” isn’t one thing. Every community on every instance is different so you didn’t get censored on “Lemmy” you get moderated in a specific community. Lemmy itself (the software) is censorship proof meaning you are free to launch you own instance, as you have done, with your own communities and post there and no one would be able to censor you and it would federate to any linked instance to your subscribers.

Well, in my opinion LW is just too big and poorly gatekept. Having one huge instance that dwarfs all others is bad architecture for the fediverse and there are a lot of alts and people on there hell bent on silencing others. Before my instance defederated LW every single post we would make would get to -5 within 20 or so minutes regardless of what is posted and it was a huge amount of different user accounts doing it, I can see the votes as the instance admin. This made it really un fun to post when it immediately got buried on everyone’s feed and our posts never got any comments as it felt like posting into the void. We went through a lot of changes since then I appointed a friend to be admin, we defederated LW and Lemmy.ca and turned off downvotes. Now we have a pretty good comment to post ratio and more active users than I ever expected for a small vegan focused instance.

In terms of them being “our memes” the joke is going to be funnier than that. Only because this guy is fighting imaginary “tankie” demons and reposting literally everything so he can spare others from being exposed to tankies. If you read their reasoning it is totally daft. The idea is to hide a faint water mark that just says cm0002 is a 🤡 on different posts and see if they get reposted. I just think that would be hilarious.
