I’d assume it’s highly automated. Basically you just designate the target and it will release the bombs at the right moment.

basically since around the 1960s bombers dont need to “drop” bombs anymore. They only designate the target and the FCS drops the bombs.Have you ever seen these insane little asshats on the online games that are able to drop Boms through windows in battlefield.
