That’s not much to go on but some general docs I’ve recently enjoyed are,
- The Contestant
- The Edge of Everything
- Sicko
- Queen of Speed
- Finke: There and Back
- Rubble Kings
Queen of Speed
They said slow docs.
The Contestant was very compelling. I even watched it again the next day with friends I thought would like it.
What makes a doc slow?
Not having fast paced cuts and hyped narrating.
No Maps on My Taps (1979), American Movie (1999), Crumb (1994)
There’s a number of excellent documentaries over at [email protected] and [email protected].
I’d recommend Connections by James Burke, which there should be a link to on the .world community.
