I tend to prefer slow paced films more. I prefer atmosphere over action.

I definitely think Gordon was possessed by Simon to carry out the murder. He was in a vulnerable state of mind and easy to control. Simon was more that just another one of Mary’s personalities. The implications are deeply disturbing.
Fully agree with the spoiler. That’s the part that pushes it up a few notches
