    Yeah, it wouldn’t even need to supply 100% of the baby formula needs of the country, just do enough business to keep competitors honest.

      Pretty much what I was thinking, as long as they had some infrastructure to produce if it’s needed it could be ramped up, if not then it’s probably mid range formula that’s available but rarely noticed. Better to have it and not need it afterall. Every country should make sure their most vulnerable have their needs met and few things more important than food to an infant.

        Yeah, it’s exactly the kind of niche where you’d want a crown corporation.

        I suppose a formula factory owned by a Chinese company is better than nothing, as long as it’s properly regulated. But, Chinese formula companies don’t exactly have the best reputation.
