I’ve been using Ziply Fiber’s 2Gbps internet service for a month, and it’s been fantastic. I track my network metrics with a Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway, and Ziply consistently delivers the speeds they advertise. At any time of day, I easily hit 2.1 Gbps, and I’ve even seen it reach 3 Gbps. The service appears to be over-provisioned, as my speeds have never dipped below the promised rate.

In terms of reliability, it’s been solid. Aside from a scheduled 30-minute maintenance that ended up taking three hours last night, my connection has been uninterrupted for the entire month.

One of my hobbies, map-making, involves transferring a large 300GB zip file through a reverse proxy at OVH to my home connection. Over the past month, I’ve uploaded 21.5TB of data without experiencing any throttling or slowdowns. That’s way better than any other ISP I’ve used, which typically throttles speeds well before 2TB of data.

As for customer service, Ziply has been refreshingly hands-off. Unlike other ISPs that pester you with constant calls to upsell TV or phone plans, Ziply just delivers the service you signed up for, no hassle.

If you have Ziply Fiber available in your area, I highly recommend making the switch.
