Nonetheless, “the institute” has been a major source of disappointment for me. They don’t give me good hopes, seeing as many of their older articles praised “chairman” Gonzalo, to only recently have them purged.
Call me a sectarian but when someone calls themselves a Maoist near me I get sceptical, thanks to all the bad shit I’ve read that they wrote. Even outside of the stuff published by “the institute”. They remind me of “Orthodox Marxists” and “Left Communists”, an intellectual sect worthy of little attention.
This isn’t even internally coherent, how the moron can first acknowledge Israel is doing genoicde in Gaza and like 3 paragraphs later conclude that Palestinian working class would by unaffected. Word salad drivel sounding more like kautskyism than maoism.

It’s so silly they have pictures and articles dedicated to Mao while saying this nonsense, because if they were around back then they’d be calling Li Dazhao and Mao as responsible for Japanese mass-killing atrocities because they worked in alliance with the KMT and advocated unity in the two united fronts while the struggle against Japanese imperial aggression was ongoing.
