This cutscene is the only time RDR 2 had one of these enigmatic Strange Man encounters like in the first game. There’s a lot to unpack here, and I’ve already drafted an absurd amount of detail linking the Arthurian Mythos with Red Dead Redemption. It seems very apparent that the writers intentionally based Arthur Morgan on the Knight Percival and how this revelation links to the Van der Linde gang.
