Which actually makes it much worse that it was re-criminalised as it wasn’t just a matter of re-affirming established legal code, but an actual regression in social policy.
It wasn’t a fluke. The USSR didn’t decriminalize everything though, and didn’t abolish all of the tsarist-era laws.
