It’s not even true that their army is bad, the ground israeli troops are getting shafted in lebanon and they had a really hard time on ground invasion on rafah as well
The IDF has literally been curb stomped by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. They failed to achieve anything in nearly 2 months of fighting. And Hezbollah is a guerilla resistance group, not a standing army like the IOF.
