In the hours following former President Donald Trump’s election victory, Google searches related to 4B — a fringe South Korean feminist movement that made a name for itself in the mid to late 2010s — surged in the United States.
I wasn’t trying to imply that women have any sort of duty to have children, I’m sorry if it came off that way. But the reality is that Republicans are having more children than Democrats, and that means most young people will be indoctrinated by the Republican party. I don’t mean to be presumptuous, but I don’t think most women on the left want the majority of young adults to be Republicans in 20 years. Right now we have roughly a 50/50 split between parties, which most people don’t seem happy about. It could get worse.
Still, the idea that women (or men even) need to/have any moral imperative to breed in order to increase the support for their party is madness.
If it gets to 80% Republicans and people still vote for it… Let them have/suffer it.
Who is “them?” Are you somehow unaffected by politics? Do you vote?

What they are missing is that the only reason 4B can be a political statement, is if it was never really okay for women to use their bodies as they would like in the first place.
Asking us to have children, questioning our decisions with our bodies, is inherently the thing we are rising against. If they didn’t do that, then refusing to have sex with them would be apolitical. It’s only political because men make it so by acting entitled to us and our bodies.
Is it political to cross a street at a crosswalk? No, it’s what everyone does. It’s expected. It’s only political if you do something like protest by standing in traffic.
That there is any outcry at all from men shows the movement is necessary.
Are you saying most men on the left secretly want to control women? Is that why you think Trump won?
Most men on the left? No, most men. That’s what a patriarchy is. Ask a man if he’s a feminist - it’s about that many men who are feminist phobic who reflexively think they are entitled to controlling women.
I think this election was stolen and Trump is a foreign asset to Russia.
You sound like you’ve been hurt. If so, I’m sorry. But don’t let them fool you, the real war is the class war. Not this stupid gender war. If you think it’s easy to be a middle or lower class man in this society you’re terribly mistaken.
Yes, I’ve been hurt by my rights being taken away. If it’s not a gender war then your gender should stop declaring war on ours by taking away our rights.
