Was oppenheimer a communist? Or a right-wing leaning/rightist?
It seems like so but due to his closeness to the US apparatus he kept it hidden and did’nt elaborate much on it.
How come he bombed Japan then? Isn’t that inhumane? Also kinda he compared himself to death and been bit sanatanic. I could not comprehend this, because how can someone be in two opposite extremes?
Oppenheimer was not the one making the decision to drop the bomb, and while he did not join the public statement denouncing the drop he reportedly told Truman in person they they were personally responsible for the deaths
When he calls himself death, its not in joy, its in horror of the creation he (and many other scientists) worked on under the assumption of ending the ultimate evil(s)
