    I’ve never thought of spookily-silent takeoff, then neck-snapping acceleration as boring, but I guess we’re talking here about dick-swinging by being loud, in-your-face and obnoxious.

    I find these throwback sound effects to be kind of pathetic.

    @[email protected] @theverge This is kinda pathetic. If you want sound, buy a gas-powered sports car. No hate to EVs but you can’t zip around sounding like an air fryer and pretend it’s a mach 1.
