My mortal enemy: Names!

Outlining a book with four chosen-one type protags. I don’t like the names I came up with. I need better ideas, if you’d be so kind?

  1. Harrison “Harry” Bach: Destined to become the Attorney Supreme. Terry’s BFF
  2. Tiresias “Terry” Garanhir: Chosen by the Drover’s Crook. He talks to critters.
  3. Minthe “Minty” Garanhir: Future Dragonslayer. She’s Terry’s twin.
  4. Adulphine “Alfie” Mordred: Carries the Curse of Cadmus (she’s becomng a dragon)

    @SteposVenzny Good point on Minty sounding exactly like Minthe. I might give her a nickname like “Slugger” or “Knucksie” instead, since she’s got anger issues and is gonna kill her best friend someday.

    @pteryx recommended Justinian as a replacement for Harrison. Maybe Jeffery could work? Earlier last names for him that I threw out included Gwion-Bach, Taliesin, and Pittacus. Thought those all were too on-the-nose. I’m also fairly certain I read a book recently with a protag named Taliesin?🤷‍♂️
