Exactly, yes. One key difference in android v/s OSMand is that organic maps’ route calculation is way faster.
Holy shit, just had a look at their Google Play entry and I fucking love how highly responsive they are to their users. Definitely gonna download it and give it a go.

Thanks for all the answers. Final question, just out of curiosity: Why are two apps developed? Why not simply make the osm app better?;
Osm does not have an app as it is a database that third party apps use.
Who developed the OSMand+ app then?
