I don’t want to be too much of a pedant, but it is different, it’s not likely any of these people did anything besides Hunter. Unless it comes out these people actually did anything, comparing Hunter to Kushner is a fair comparison, but preemptively pardoning your family because you think they are gonna get persecuted because they are related to you is pretty unprecedented. I don’t really fault sleepy for this, what’s the alternative letting Trump groundlessly put your family in courts and make a media spectacle out of it.
