Goal: I have an old software that supports PCL printing, and my wife company has convoluted process for managing docs. I would like to when they print to have it go to a “virtual printer” and have a workflow of printing to physical printer and automatically PDFing it and dropping it on a file share, FTP something. Where paperless can ingest it.

I have found Remote Printing Software Overview | Brooksnet and used it in my professional role but looking to see if there was any open source alternatives or free options before having them drop 750 on the elite license for the PCL to PDF function.
