One of my favorite YouTubers, Ross Scott, invited Yudkowski to do an interview, taking at face value the claims that he was an AI expert.
Ross quickly realized that between the two of them he had more practical knowledge of programming and general AI know-how and it deteriorated from there.
I remember Yudkowski got mad at me when I told him on Facebook that there was no magic pill to cure his diabetes and he he just had to start exercising and watching his diet. He told me he was to important to risk the Injury from working out. Not too important to offer 10k for a magic potion and try it though. Bonus, his self insert hero character invents falgsc and uses the contradictions of liberalism to do it. Which he denied when I point out the implications of his work. So like the exact mathematically dumbest smart person. A fascinating case
