Nieman Lab reports on the president’s accusation that @politico is being bribed for slanted coverage — and the reality, which is that federal offices buy subscriptions to the publication’s Pro products. “By the Trumpist line of logic, whenever a government department buys some desks or office chairs, it’s actually bribing Ikea to twist its Lagkapten and Grönfjäll into supporting DEI,” writes Joshua Benton.
