After announcing it would be renaming the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America, Google has officially changed on its Maps application.

Way to crumple like a Kleenex there, Google. 🙄

    I’m not sure why you all seem to expect a mapmaker to take a moral stand on something, their product reflects the new name of the place.

    Outside of the US, it shows up as Gulf of Mexico (gulf of America).

    Get angry at the government, they changed the name.
