Tere!

I recently made a similar post over at c/norway (https://sopuli.xyz/post/22971124) and would love to hear some Estonian brands and products recommended by you.

Now there is this one Saku Honey Ale I drank years ago in Tallinn that has stuck in my mind like an ex-partner who I just can’t get over of. I tried to search for it last time I visited Tallinn but couldn’t find it anymore…

Any brands and product recommendations would be cool!

Edit: sorry for posting in English, I can’t speak or write in Estonian and was reading on the sidebar that English posts are welcome.

Glad to help! The legendary pancake house here, Kompressor, has blonde munk on tap. It’s why I make the greasy association. Highly recommend getting a bacon cheese pancake and a munk, and try to make room for a nap immediately after.

Yep, its the ring chips. There’s also chips pressed into long rectangle wafers all neatly stacked that’s worth checking, if only for the novelty of it.

Oh one last thing I just remembered, Baltic style garlic bread! It’s best from bars with a good enough kitchen, but there’s also a packaged version. Super greasy fried black bread infused with most too much garlic, perfection.

That all sounds so delicious I feel like I need to book a ticket right now! Was planning a trip through the baltic capital cities since I’ve only seen Tallinn. Guess I’ll get to try baltic style garlic bread too this time!
