    I wonder why they went with “cost-saving measures” instead of “profit-boosting measures.”

    The layoffs come as part of cost-saving measures the company says it will undertake to strengthen their financial profile by better aligning their cost structure to their business mix and long-term strategy.

      I’m starting to think there is no long-term strategy and all these big tech companies are just chasing short term gains

    The same HP that was in the news last month for buying the assets of the failed Humane AI Pin startup for $116M.

    Edit: apparently not the same HP, but similar management styles
