Actually just saw someone talking about this. Apparently although it looks/seems a little dystopian it is actually crazy effective. Like eliminating entire cell blocks of solitary confinement it works so well effective. I heard quotes from the prisoners along the lines of, “seeing these people just living their everyday lives out here made me want that and feel like I deserved it too”
help them cope with the trauma so we can retraumatize them better
Here’s an idea: Maybe don’t put people in solitary confinement in the first place?
No fucking way this is real imma check

ngl this seems significantly better than the alternative which is give them nothing. obviously solitary confinement as a concept is questionable but prisons using technology to offer prisoners entertainment and stuff is good and we should support that
Sorry, best we can do is slavery.
yeah this beats slavery by a longshot
Genuinely great! Even better would be solitary confinement not existing though :)
Wouldn’t it be easier to just accept that the typical prison system doesn’t work?
And who’s going to pay big tech in that scenario, huh???
It works fine, just not for resocialisation.
What about rehabilitation?
The real Matrix prequel.
Is it really solitary confinement though, when you’re right next to another guy, and two prison guards are staring at your junk?
Yep, it’s real.
Just gonna leave this here…
lol, that was a messed up episode. The worst stuff always happens to O’Brian
