Well, you don’t think civilians should own guns and you can’t fight.

    Who protects you from danger?

      Who protects you from danger?

It sure as shit ain’t the cops, because most of the time they’re only around after a murder/attack has happened, and even then it’s not even a guarantee that they do something to help.

Investment into the community through education, social welfare programs, and gun control will always be better at reducing homicide than investment into an already militarized police force.

What danger? Are you that scared of the world that you feel danger everywhere?

Nothin in life is risk free, but there is a difference between acknowledging the inherent risk in being alive and being so afraid that you think you need a gun.

The chance of you ever encountering a situation where owning a gun would have improved the situation is ridiculously small.

I mean, if you can’t fight and don’t own a gun then you’re at the mercy of cops to protect you.

If you live in a gated community you probably don’t need to worry. But that’s not representative of most of us.

From what exactly? What kind of shithole do you live in that this is an actual concern?

I live in a relatively poor neighborhood in a medium sized city in Europe.
