A video rip of the first issue of Family Magazine’s video companion series, which ran for a couple of years during the peak Bubble Economy days. A ton of interesting previews and trailers here, including a brief but cool look inside Squaresoft’s dev offices in anticipation of Final Fantasy II. This September 1988 issue leads with Super Mario Bros. 3, which would launch in Japan the following month and was obviously kind of a big deal! This issue is almost entirely focused on Famicom/NES games, though PC Engine and Mega Drive make their presence known briefly.
