I thought the story was really entertaining in 16, but after about 20 hours in, I remember saying to myself, “this is an RPG without puzzles”. While you do get to choose what ability set you use, it’s not like you have to use those abilities to advance the game. It basically felt like a 3rd-person shooter, but with swords and flashy moves instead of guns.
Great and accurate critique.
