I thought it would be a cool idea to do a poll right before the year ends to see what everyone is using

Voyager, with Avelon as backup to find already read hidden posts as Voyager is a bit of a pain for that.

Lemmy as a whole is a pain for that. It’s one thing when in the feed I read/vote/comment something and I want that hidden from the feed to remove clutter. But when I specifically search for it or browse a community I don’t want those posts hidden. Obviously.

I use Avelon, with Voyager as backup.

I also cannot vote for the same reason.

Thunder, because it doesn’t look like another clone of Apollo which most lemmy apps seem to try to emulate. Special mention to Arctic because it can embed gifs and videos and allows scrubbing (Avelon wants you to pay to scrub media).

I prefer Voyager because it doesn’t sell my identity and current location to 3rd parties (DDG app confirms this). And it’s a straightforward app with most of the features I miss from Relay for reddit.

If you’re on iOS and haven’t tried Lemma, it’s pretty nice. I was on Voyager, then Avelon, then back to Memmy, but I have to say Lemma is my overall favorite right now.

I have like five apps. Voyager is the one I use most. Second is eternity, third is connect. Jerboa is ok, but it always has some small issues.
