this style of language really tells on the writer. all of the you/us type language shows such a strong identification of the author with ethnicity and country (one is indelibly part of one’s country and ethnicity, and one’s interests as an individual are aligned with that of the ethnicity/country). absolutely no appreciation that a country is not a person (not a ‘you’), and total conflation between ‘you’ the poster being responded to and ‘you’ the country of china.
