Huh, I always figured it’s because it’s one of the masculine-conforming reasons to have a friend take a nice photo of just one guy. Single guys with plenty of friends go out and do stuff together, but you don’t take well-lit, posed photos by yourself normally. You might take a group shot, but then you risk looking small or ugly next to a more attractive friend. A posed photo of a guy by himself looking good is going to look like it was taken by a significant other.
It also says “I like to fish, and when we are in a relationship, I expect to continue to go fishing with my friends.”
I don’t get it
Men on dating apps known for posing with fish. This long running web comic with swords. Thus sword fish gag :)
Thank you. I’ve never used a dating app and I was very confused.
Take care out there, flying squid. You’re the ultimate catch for a fish guy’s tinder profile.
I don’t know that my wife would be into me looking for fishermen on Tinder. I don’t even think she’d be up for me looking for them on Grindr.
What, why? Is this some fad?
enough of a thing to have articles on it. Though I’d guess it’s an American thing.

Ah, appealing to the “i can feed you” instincts.
