“B” and half a “o” is on the stone the other half of the “o” and “obs” is either floating in the air or written on the base in an angle that only works from where the camera is placed.
Could you try and compare the deformation of the letters with with birth and death date with the added text, if you want to add text they have to follow that, based on the viewing angle. And then there’s the missing engraving of the letters. 🙄
Look at the white line just above the epitaph. It’s where the face of the grave meets the base. I thought the same as you at first, but it’s a trick with the shadows.
