I agree Juriji and Sethlas broke the challenge. I think the judges didn’t want to repeat the top two from last week so they gave the top placement to Samantha, which was also well deserved (although I couldn’t see the stones in her wig, but I’ll believe her when she says they were there LOL)
Hornella’s runway was crazy good. In case anyone doesn’t remember:
Juriji is mesmerizing in general, and her lipsyncs are driving me crazy (in a good way!). She’s the best bimbo to have graced the drag race runway ever. In the main challenge when she mixed pop with Opera while the dancers carried her. Bitch, she left no crumbs.
About Sagitaria… I think she had every right to disagree with the judges. I personally didn’t. Not all dresses and designs need to be this asymmetric high-fashion haute couture pieces. The thing about sethlas is that she always manages to bring the runways to her own aesthetic, and her aesthetic is good because it is consistent and has a vision. Saying her look was a corset with some glass on is just not seing the editorial decisions Sethlas made and I think speaks very poorly of Sagitaria’s eye for fashion. Regardless, as I said, she’s entitled to her opinion, but the way she handled everything really gave 3-year old toddler vibes. I don’t think the producers asked all the queens to bad-mouth Sagi on the confesionals. The fact they all did goes to show you just what a bad taste sagi’s behavior left on everyone’s mouth. In that sense I think she has a lot of growing up to do.
Having said that!.. I also think she was clearly going through some sort of mental health crisis and seeing her tweets (thanks for sharing btw) I can’t help but to feel sorry for her. I mean, this was filmed some time ago, and you can see from the tweets that she’s still in her feelings about the whole thing. Imagine being in that state of mind/mood for so long. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone, and I truly hope she can find the help she needs to pull herself from that dark place.
About the first tweet… IDK, I don’t like when someone takes on the defense of someone else without their consent. I think that if Juriji had something to say about that lipsync she could just say it herself, and if she doesn’t, then it’s not sagi’s place to take on that.
