Bigotry against an ethnicity is not different in any meaningful way from bigotry against a race. Referring to it as racism may be technically incorrect but it get the right idea across.

Russian is an ethnicity. Bigotry against an ethnicity is not different in any meaningful way from bigotry against a race. Referring to it as racism may be technically incorrect but it get the right idea across.
