Already deleted, but this is the exact quote:

“How do I log out of this?

Haven’t worked here in weeks. Anyway, the NBA overextends it’s social media employees greatly to the detriment of their health and social lives for a salary of less than $50k annually after taxes.

I worked 14 hour shifts without breaks at times. Shoutout Adam Silver.

We don’t get health insurance until 90 days on the job! That’s silly isn’t it?

Glad I resigned, no need for a job to get in the way of your happiness.

Donate to mental health causes ✌️”

He then went on to make another post promoting his own social media management company…

Why would anyone else ever trust him with a social media account??

It’s okay to call out your shitty employer, but to promote your own business with the same breath takes away the gravitas of the call out. Makes it seem contrived to build your brand rather than an authentic call out.

It wasn’t their employer, it was an ex employer who has bad security practices. They get to feel that burn.

The only thing burned here is the bridge between this guy and the NBA. If you value networking and reputation, this isn’t the move.

It’s not this post that is trashy, it’s the one they allegedly posted about promoting their other current company. Wtf.

Lmao not only is it incredibly “unprofessional,” but the post literally starts with “How do I log out of this?” Not exactly inspiring confidence haha.

There’s no such thing as bad publicity. I used to think that was hyperbole, but after watching the orange guy, the long rat, the nerdy book of faces guy, the puffy lips ladies with a famous lawyer daddy, and a slew of other people outrage themselves to the top, I believe it.

Did he? You’d think he’d want to not draw attention to his social media management company while simultaneously burning bridges…

he can’t be a whole lot worse than most people who choose to interact with twitter as a career… i mean the kid looked at facebook and said: that’s the life for me… i already don’t like him…

The real smart thing is to promote a competitor’s social media management company. Make them suffer the bad press.
