The best part of the internet is bringing people together in those niche hobbies.
For example, I have a motorhome that I’m restoring. There were only ~1,200 of them made, in the 1990s, and they’re scattered all over the US and Canada (plus a few in Europe). A local club? Hah. But the internet has brought several dozen, maybe even several hundred, owners together where we share tips and tricks and repairs and help each other out. Regardless of political orientation or other bullshit.
THAT is the best part of the internet.
