I have accounts on Lemmy.world and Blahaj Lemmy and kbin. I would like to delete my account from Lemmy.world as they are not defederating from Meta/Threads. Plus, Lemmy.world is huge and spreading things across the fediverse makes sense.
When I go to Settings and try to delete my account in Lemmy.world, I’m asked to enter my password, I do, the response is a ‘Saved’ message, but the account is still there.
I want to keep my instance on Blahaj Lemmy, just not my instance on Lemmy.world
There must be an answer that I’m just not seeing. Thoughts?

I have the same issue. The website asks me to confirm deletion by entering my password, then the site snaps back to top, spends 10 seconds “processing” the request and then nothing happens.
