My goal is for there to be a new, good, Fallout game. Along with this goal, we know the following:
Bethesda mishandled the IP at every opportunity since acquiring the IP
Microsoft now owns the Fallout IP, not Bethesda
Microsoft owns other RPG dev studios that show greater capability of handling the Fallout IP
Looking at this directly, why do you think pressuring Bethesda would better achieve this initial goal, than Microsoft? Microsoft has more power over the IP and the Means to allocate it to a better dev, even for a spinoff a la New Vegas.
