You can buy land for like $50 per acre and just live on it. It won’t have any comforts of civilization and you’ll die of a broken leg at 40, but it’s “free”.

Where the ever-loving fuck are you getting land for 50$ an acre.

Please exclude deserts and the like.

I live in Appa-fucking-lachia, and you can’t get an acre of land for less than 5k around here.

There’s always ways to improve civilization but dumping the baby with the bathwater is stupid.

Man, I’m not advocating throwing out civilization. Just pointing out that “Love it or leave it” isn’t an option.

I like how you exclude deserts, as if you can’t live on them. Plenty of Native Americans lived there for tens of thousands of years. You’re the one who wants to live off of the land.

Do you think Native Americans had a choice where they lived? No. They adapted their lifestyle to the land they were born on.

There is a ton of land for sale from $200 to $25 per acre, all types of climates. A 1 minute search found me this page:

Took a look myself: those are the “price per month” financed. The asking price is still a $1,000 an acre or more.

Might want to spend more than a minute searching.

Do you think Native Americans had a choice where they lived?

Yes, actually. More than a few tribes were nomadic.
